Nurture nature not landfill

We worked with the indigo plant from local farmers to achieve the rich dark blue colour. Indigo has been used as a natural dye for thousands of years and is used to rebalance the soil after growing other crops like cotton and vegetables. Indigo is non toxic, naturally microbial and has a depth of colour that conventional dyes can’t achieve.

For the white stitching we don’t use bleach which is toxic in the waterways but instead the yarns are boiled and then left outside to fade naturally in the sun.
